- Author – Write new articles and expand existing content
- Editor – Edit author submissions for accuracy and completeness
- Reviewer – Review new submissions and updates for: link accuracy, adhering to the site guidelines, search engine optimization, spelling and grammar.

Article submission guidelines
Copyrighted Material. There are a ton of web resources available for FIB information! This website is not an attempt to aggregate or recreate that information. This website is completely written with user created materials that are not copyrighted. We do not post any material that is copyrighted. All articles will be reviewed by an Editor to ensure that no copyrighted materials were used. Links to copyrighted material on other websites is allowed, but embedding copyrighted material is not allowed. Any article found to be plagiarizing other source material will be removed, and the contributor will be notified. Continued posting of copyrighted material by a contributor will result in removal of privileges.
Advertising. We welcome all vendor contributions! This site is instrument/platform/vendor agnostic whenever possible. As such, advertising for a specific vendor is heavily discouraged in articles.
Format. A few formatting guidelines to help out the search engines; this is the internet after all.
- Justify paragraphs
- Add subheadings for each section
- Figures centered
- Appropriate caption for all figures
- Add in the appropriate category for the article
